What happens if I'm underspending my funds?

What happens if I'm underspending my funds?

There are many reasons someone might not be using their funding, such as:
  1. Haven't been able to find good supports
  2. Long waitlists
  3. Live in a rural location and not enough support options
  4. Haven't had time to coordinate and arrange supports

It is important to keep a track of your spending, as if you get to your plan reassessment date and you haven't used a lot of funding your NDIA planner or LAC may ask you why, so it's important to be able to explain if this is the case.
